Now, a different D4RYL has made headlines, with the eponymous robotic magician’s assistant failing to be included in an exclusive club of top magicians - The Magic Circle. D4RYL is assistant to magician David Penn who is a member. The official response from the President of The Magic Circle: “Wonder is emotional, not just mechanical.” It’s complicated. Sooty, the sock puppet from the British TV show, is already a member. Does D4RYL have a case for discrimination?
